Install Apps without Wi-Fi

iPhone without Wi-Fi. Sounds useless. Not much!! But a Jailbroken iPhone without Wi-Fi. Now that sounds really a waste.

After all jailbreak is done to get all the vast number of third-party apps working on your phone, but what if you cant install them ( as is the case when you don’t have Wifi ). There is a answer though, iGopher.

This Windows software allows you to install all apps you need, through the internet connection of your PC. This is how it can be done.

Requirements:

1) A Jailbroken Ipod Touch/ iPhone

2) A PC with internet ( Not WiFi specifically!!)

3) iGopher software. It can be downloaded here.

4) Installer app in your iPhone

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

(a) Once you download the software, Install it.

(b) Open installation folder.

(c) To add new sources, add the url along with http:// in PackageSources.txt ( in the Gopher folder).

(d) Run Gopher.exe. ( In case you get a error like mfc71.dll not found, you can download it here ).

(e) It might take some time to load, as it refreshes its package list from all the sources available.

(f) Connect your iPhone via USB cable. Click Ipod>>Get Version. If it shows Found user root on ipod , means things are fine . If not , connect again and try or try restarting.

(g) Tick the apps you need. Now Click Files>Clear script. (You need to do this for each set of apps.)

(h) Now Click Files>Export script.

(i) Gopher will now start downloading the ticked apps. It might hang up for a while , dont worry.

(j) Once done , it shows a pop up will Open saying everything is ready on your iPhone.

(k) Now you need to Open installer on your iPhone. You will see the ticked applications under install tab.
Click on each app individually and Install.

(l) All apps have successfully installed on your iPhone.

NOTE: This has been checked working for 1.1.1 , 1.1.2, 1.1.3 (Jailbroken obviously)
